PEACE NW Spotlight
Our Services
Parent Coalition
The Clark County Parent Coalition (CCPC), a program of PEACE NW, supports families and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) as they navigate education, transition, and disability services. Through direct support, community events, multicultural outreach, and advocacy, CCPC helps families address evolving needs and break down barriers to access.
Advocacy
PEACE NW partners with families, self-advocates, and underrepresented communities to navigate services, build connections, and remove barriers for people with disabilities. Central to this work is amplifying diverse voices, promoting inclusion, and driving systems change so all individuals can thrive..
Legislative Action
We empower families and individuals with knowledge about the issues affecting people with developmental disabilities, including their rights and how systems work. Through education, skill-building, and hands-on advocacy such as participating in annual Advocacy Days in Olympia they gain the tools to make their voices heard and become strong, self-advocates.
H.O.M.E
Since 2021, PEACE NW HOME has supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families in Clark and Spokane Counties by building self-advocacy, goal setting, and housing navigation skills. The program equips people to explore housing options, access resources, and work toward community-based housing solutions.
Supporting Independence
PEACE NW’s Independence Coordination empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to build skills, access personalized supports, and take real steps toward living meaningful, self-directed lives.
Parent 2 Parent (P2P)
PEACE NW’s Parent to Parent (P2P) program connects families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to vital peer support, resources, and community. Serving Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat Counties, P2P helps families navigate new diagnoses, life transitions, and advocacy needs—ensuring no one has to navigate the journey alone.
