Legislative session is here, let's make a difference!
Legislative Session is a time where lawmakers from across Washington come together to write laws and make budgets that affect every person in our state. 2025 is an important session to make sure the services we rely on are protected.

PEACE NW works with families to connect to appropriate services and supports for people with disabilities. An important aspect of this work is through advocacy. By connecting with state legislators, other advocacy groups, and people with disabilities we work to ensure that inclusive and integrated supports are on the agenda of our legislators. Working to make sure that policies affecting our families have input from our families. We do this work through multiple avenues:
Participate in Advocacy Days during our legislative session
Disseminating information to interested parents and professionals
Guided tours (transportation included) to the State Capitol
Assistance to meet your elected officials and share issues
Local opportunities for families to share their stories with legislators
Candidates Forum
