At PEACE NW, we encourage families to be knowledgeable about the rights of those they are close to with developmental disabilities. And in turn, help them to become strong self-advocates.
We work with families and individuals with disabilities to:
Be knowledgeable and understand the rights of those with disabilities
Help those with disabilities assert those rights
Work with and train families to be effective advocates on behalf of those with disabilities
Lean and develop the skills to ensure that the rights of those with disabilities are protected
If you would like more information about PEACE NW’s advocacy support, upcoming trainings or to talk to a staff member, please contact PEACE NW at (360) 823-2247 or email Hattie at hatties@peacenw.org
